Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh cherries pitted and halved
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts optional
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips or shavings optional

Instructions

  • Prepare the Baking Sheet:
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix the Yogurt Base:
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Mix well until smooth and well combined.
  • Spread the Yogurt:
  • Pour the yogurt mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly with a spatula to a thickness of about 1/4 inch.
  • Add the Toppings:
  • Scatter the pitted and halved cherries over the yogurt.
  • If using, sprinkle the chopped nuts and dark chocolate chips or shavings on top.
  • Freeze:
  • Place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze for at least 2-3 hours or until the yogurt is fully set and firm.
  • Break into Pieces:
  • Once fully frozen, remove the baking sheet from the freezer. Break the yogurt bark into pieces of your desired size.
  • Store:
  • Store the frozen yogurt bark in an airtight container in the freezer until ready to serve.
