  • 2-3 tbsp pink champagne or sparkling wine
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pink food coloring optional

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat the Oven and Prepare the Cupcake Pan
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
  • Step 2: Make the Cupcake Batter
  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate large bowl, beat the softened butter until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract and pink champagne.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, and mix until smooth and combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Step 3: Bake the Cupcakes
  • Spoon the cupcake batter evenly into the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 of the way full.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cupcakes to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Step 4: Make the Frosting
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until smooth and creamy.
  • Gradually add the powdered sugar, 1/2 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition.
