Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
Prepare the Mushrooms
Clean the mushrooms by wiping them gently with a damp cloth. Remove the stems and set them aside. Make sure the mushroom caps are hollow enough to stuff but still sturdy.
Prepare the Stuffing Mixture
In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir until the mixture is well combined.
Stuff the Mushrooms
Spoon the stuffing mixture into each mushroom cap, pressing gently to pack the stuffing inside. Make sure each mushroom is generously stuffed.
Bake the Mushrooms
Arrange the stuffed mushrooms on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle a little olive oil over the top of each mushroom for extra flavor and crispiness.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the stuffing is golden and crispy on top.
Garnish and Serve
Once the stuffed mushrooms are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley or extra grated Parmesan, if desired.
Serve and Enjoy
Serve these Parmesan and garlic stuffed mushrooms warm. They are perfect as an appetizer or side dish, and they pair wonderfully with a variety of meals.
