Instructions

  • For the Chicken:
  • Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, dried oregano, and dried thyme. Rub the seasonings into the chicken to ensure they are evenly coated.
  • Heat the Skillet: Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet or cast-iron pan over medium-high heat until the butter is melted and the pan is hot.
  • Cook the Chicken: Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
